CCB Issues Summary Suspension of Cultivation License
November 18, 2021
LAS VEGAS, NV – Pursuant to Nevada Cannabis Compliance Regulations (NCCR) 4.105, today the Nevada Cannabis Compliance Board (CCB) called an emergency telephonic board meeting to consider the summary suspension of the medical and adult-use cultivation licenses held by The Harvest Foundation, LLC.
Board members present voted unanimously to summarily suspend The Harvest Foundation, LLC (license # 79521872948450004935 and license # 96448648950663179929) effective immediately, citing a present threat to public health and safety.
After multiple audits and inspections, Board Agents found the Harvest Foundation continued to store cannabis while holding expired licenses and large quantities of cannabis and cannabis products logged in the state’s seed-to-sale tracking system were missing. Board Agents also cited significant security and other deficiencies at the facility.
This resulted in Complaint Case No. 2021-55 issued by the CCB on November 18, 2021.
The Harvest Foundation is required to submit a plan of correction to the CCB for approval within 10 business days in order to lift the order and shall not resume operations until the CCB has confirmed deficiencies identified in the order have been corrected.
This is the fourth summary suspension issued by the CCB in 2021.
