CCB Issues Summary Suspension of Cultivation License
August 27, 2021
LAS VEGAS, NV - Pursuant to Nevada Cannabis Compliance Board Regulation (NCCR) 4.105, the Nevada Cannabis Compliance Board (CCB) called an emergency board meeting via Zoom yesterday to consider the summary suspension of the cultivation licenses held by Green Cross of America, Inc.
Board members present voted unanimously to summarily suspend Green Cross of America, Inc. (license # 60040931748706185991 and certificate # 59236238729804377085) effective immediately citing a present threat to public health and safety.
On 8/25/21, Board Agents visited the cultivation facility of Green Cross of America, Inc. located in Pahrump, Nevada, upon which Agents found more than 100 untagged mature cannabis plants and more than 300 immature cannabis plants (clones) also not tracked in the state’s seed-to-sale tracking system, among security and other significant deficiencies.
Per NCCR 6, a cannabis establishment must ensure mature cannabis plants and cannabis products are tagged and tracked as required using the seed-to-sale inventory tracking system. Immature cannabis plants do not need to be tagged but must be tracked.
Green Cross of America, Inc. is required to submit an acceptable plan of correction to the CCB and take all necessary corrective actions for approval within 10 business days to lift the order.
