CCB Issues Summary Suspension of Cultivation License
Pursuant to Nevada Cannabis Compliance Regulations (NCCR) 4.105, the Nevada Cannabis Compliance Board (CCB) called an emergency telephonic board meeting on May 20, 2021 to consider the summary suspension of the cultivation license held by NLV Wellness, LLC.
Board members present voted unanimously to summarily suspend NLV Wellness, LLC (license # 31181717801815759371 and certificate # 76526364910639240293) effective immediately citing a present threat to public health and safety.
On 5/19/21, Board Agents visited the cultivation facility of NLV Wellness, LLC upon which Agents found more than 500 cannabis plants and more than 60 pounds of packaged usable cannabis not tagged or tracked in the seed-to-sale tracking system, among other significant deficiencies. This is the second such finding of similar noncompliance following a routine inspection and audit of the licensee in 2019.
Per NCCR Regulation 6, a cannabis establishment must ensure cannabis and cannabis products are tagged and registered as required using the state’s seed-to-sale inventory tracking system.
NLV Wellness, LLC is required to submit a plan of correction to the CCB for approval within 10 business days in order to lift the order and shall not resume operations until the CCB has confirmed deficiencies identified in the order have been corrected.
